silverbox "wedding pros to know" ~ Kent @ kent's floral gallery

If ever there was a man whose heart was in his work, it's Kent, the owner of Kent's Floral Gallery on Broadway.

We stopped by his shop last week to admire his handiwork. And we realized - watching him assemble a floral bouquet

from scratch with whatever greenery we tossed at him - that we were seeing a MASTER craftsman at work.

Raw materials flowed through his fingers with a twist here, a tug there and . . . whallah! a bouquet that should have been

on its way down the aisle. We've seen brides flush with utter delight when Kent personally handed their bouquets to them

on the wedding day. He is as much about personal service as he is about artistry, and that, my friends,

is a winning combination!

Here are a few things Kent shared about himself and his business. Says Kent:

(1) an interesting fact about me: “I love roller coasters. I hate getting caught in the rain!”

(2) my favorite book and film: "My favorite movie is 10 Commandments and my favorite book is The Bible.

It's helped me build my business and my faith; it's what gets me through."

(3) what every bride should know: “Floral decorations should be planned after your dress, cake, and venue are chosen.

The date can be booked in advance, but actual floral planning is not necessary until 3-6 months before the wedding.!”

(4) one a-ha service clients may not know we offer: “We not only design floral decorations, we also rent glassware,

cake stands, table lighting and all sorts of other items for your wedding decor."

So if you're in the market for flowers for your wedding, or to spruce up your home, or to send to that sweet somebody,

take a look here at some of his work. Here are a few shots from his shop on Broadway: Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
