***Now Hiring: Part-Time Graphic Designer & Studio Manager***

SilverBox Photographers is on the hunt for a dependable, self-motivated, and talented individual to join our crew. This position will be a minimum of 10 hours a week, but could result in up to 15 if we find the right person. Someone with a good work ethic is mandatory. We like to have fun, but we also work hard! We work out of our downtown Columbia, MO studio. Normal work hours are 10am-5pm but the working hours of this position are flexible.  

Responsibilities Overview:


Graphic Design

  • Product design
  • Album design
  • Brand promotion
  • Marketing material design
  • Graduation announcement design
  • Package design/sourcing
  • Email campaign design
  • Occasional website design and maintenance


Studio Management

  • Communicate with potential and current clients via phone or email
  • Package orders
  • Update email database
  • Send studio newsletters
  • Organize and replenish inventory of office supplies
  • Light cleaning
  • Social media marketing


Portrait Workflow

  • Session preparation
  • Client order fulfillment
  • Create client galleries
  • Assist with image processing and organization, as needed
  • Blogging


The ideal candidate must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with Adobe Lightroom, Google Docs, Google Calendar, and Wordpress preferred, but not required. Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills needed.


This position is NOT open to photographers or those who wish to pursue a career in photography.


After a 4 week probation/training period at $10/hr, pay will rise. Rate will depend on experience and job performance. Due to the amount of training required, we are looking for someone who plans to stick around for awhile!
