Two words describe Jessie and Cody's wedding: WOW and WOW! It was our first time to photograph an event at The Thaxton, and I can see why Jessie and Cody fell in love with this space. The current owners restored the historic 1928 building to its Art Deco roots, and Jessie and Cody took that Art Deco theme and ran with it . . . everything from hair, make-up and dress to reception decor was 1920's-inspired. And here's a little Thaxton fact: the building was originally built as a prototype photography store for the Eastman Kodak Corp.
I've known Cody's family for years and am so grateful to have gotten this chance to be part of Cody and Jessie's wedding. Congratulations, Jessie and Cody!
