i think the biggest privilege of being a wedding photographer is the chance to bear witness. it's our job to SEE LOVE, to document it, so that others can see it too . . . see it and remember it. And I'm not just talking about the love between two people getting married. i think it's possible that weddings may be more emotionally intense for parents than for the newlyweds.
that emotional intensity (love and joy and pride) was surely written on suzanne and mills' parents' faces all day long. being a mom, i can only imagine what it must feel like to be a DAD, giving your daughter away on her wedding day. we've not ever done a "father of the bride" blog post before, but it's clear to me as i edit these wedding pictures, that suzanne and her dad have a pretty special relationship.
so here are a few more sneak peek pictures . . . this time featuring the father of the bride. we'll get to the story of the whole day (and rehearsal dinner too!) eventually. in the meantime, there are so many pictures from suzanne + mills' wedding that are worth sharing that we couldn't get them all into one blog post . . . or two . . . or three. so we'll just do a series. perhaps another segment tomorrow?
