emily + richard held both their outdoor ceremony AND their indoor reception at columbia's cherry hill event center. what a treat for their guests! the cherry hill event center was aglow with twinkling lights draped among the trees, live guitar music by thom howard, the smell of warm home-baked pies, and candle-lit pumpkins lighting the paths.
Credit for this creative vision goes to emily and richard (who spent the day before their wedding poking holes into those candle-lit pumpkins) AND to richard's sister, hilary schwartz, a chicago event planner who brought her talents to columbia for emily and richard's wedding. (And take note, all you not-yet brides: word has it that hilary will come back if you want her to style YOUR wedding too).
(and be sure to note the green and white plaid table decor in honor of richard's partiality to plaid . . . for proof of this partiality, check out his and emily's engagement session . . . yep, he's wearing GREEN plaid!)
scroll down to see just how beautiful it all was AND be sure to watch their wedding day slideshow too by clicking here. No only will you see lots more pictures, but you can also hear the songs thom howard played during their ceremony (recorded especially for emily and richard for this slideshow . . . thanks, thom!)
