Anne and Wes do engagement sessions right! They both took the entire day off (of work, of wedding planning, of to-do lists and chores). It was a day-long date that ended with our photo session at Les Bourgeois Vineyards. By the time we met up, they were relaxed and excited, and I thought: "What a great idea! I've got to start suggesting that to all my couples!" It shouldn't come as any surprise that Anne is full of great wedding ideas: she is a wedding & event planner and the owner of Annabelle Events. (And, hip hip hurray, she just joined our studio space last spring. Now couples can visit our studio for photography, graphic design (via Hoot Design Co) AND event planning services...all in one spot!
By the way, Anne is sharing insights into planning her own wedding on her blog, My Wedding Story. It's a GREAT resources for brides-to-be. In fact she even described her preparations for this engagement session in a post (click here) (how fun are those pictures of her outfits laid out in advance?)! Anne is impressive: she's built a successful business from scratch, her clients adore her, and she somehow still finds time to volunteer, coordinating major charity events like Coaches for Kids Celebrity Golf Classic to raise money for the Children's Hospital.
